One Church in Multiple Locations Living Faith Miracle Center is a Jesus-centered, non-denominational charismatic church, with locations in Kelowna and Vernon BC. Apostle Everton and Pastor Tracy have always had a passion to train and equip God’s people to fulfill their God-given purpose in life. They moved their young family to Kelowna in the early spring of 2001. Here is their account:
“Pastor Tracy and I, along with our three little children (now four), placed flyers all over the city of Kelowna to advertise the upcoming miracle meetings that would kick-start the church. No one had heard of us; we were new to the city and had no financial support. At first, this was very discouraging to us, but the dream of God was more important than our feelings. So, we remained focused on the plan of God and pressed forward.
With the little money that we had, we placed an ad in the newspaper one week before the crusade. To our delight, over 100 hundred people attended! We were privileged to host Apostle Charles Ndifon and Pastor Victor Emenike during that week to help us with the new church plant.
On April 1, 2001, the Oasis of Love Miracle Center (now called Living Faith Miracle Center) was established. In many different ways, we witnessed the favor of God, which I believe has become the very foundation of this miracle ministry. For the first six months, the Kelowna Fish and Game Gun Club was our home. I still remember the sound of rifles echoing loudly at times while I was preaching
Also within that six months, the Lord gave us a strategy to train up leaders for this tremendous work. There was such a great need in the Okanagan Valley for fresh Apostlic teaching, and consequently the School of Ministry was birthed. Over 25 hungry students packed into the little fireside hall that was attached to our house. Every day, Monday to Friday, I would teach these students about the secrets of miracles and who they were in Christ. Today, for the glory of God, many of those students have graduated to become leaders in this ministry. Many others have traveled to various nations of the world; bringing people in contact with the healing Word of God.
Within a year of establishing the Kelowna church, the surrounding cities began to hear of the miracles that were taking place in our ministry. In the city of Vernon, people were desperate for us to come and minister to them. In June of 2002, we started holding regular monthly miracle services. Many notable miracles and salvations took place, and the same hunger that we had seen in Kelowna, we now saw in Vernon. A few months later in October, the vision for Oasis of Love Miracle Cente (now called the Vernon Living Faith Miracle Center) became a reality. Now, we are one church in multiple locations.
One of the most exciting things in those early days was to see many of God’s people weep when they heard about the fresh reality of Jesus. Today, by the grace of God, we have impacted 13 nations of the world with the powerful message of the gospel. Thousands have been trained for the work of the ministry, and tens of thousands have been healed, baptized, and come to know Jesus Christ.
